Grace Church is a faith community in the heart of Dayton seeking to follow Christ’s examples of love, peace and justice. We are a diverse urban community of persons who value connecting to God and one another. We believe that it is good to question and to seek. We may not always believe the same as one another, but the people of Grace Church believe in God’s love and one another. Grace is for everyone!

Children and Youth Ministries
Grace Church Sunday School for children and youth focuses on God’s love, God’s love of children, and God’s love of all the world. Stories of the Old and New Testaments, as well as other materials, are used to illustrate God’s love.
Children and youth are often asked to take part in our worship services. A message targeted to young people is a regular part of our worship, and they serve as acolytes, ushers, and biblical storytellers. They are an invaluable part of our congregation. Children and youth are always welcome in worship!
Transportation to and from Grace is available for children. Call or text the Children’s Ministry Director, Marcia Byrd, at 937-361-8202, by 7:00 PM the Saturday before to be added to the transportation schedule.

Dayton Cooks! Education in the kitchen.
Learning basic skills in the kitchen is not only good for a happy healthy life; it can lead to self-esteem and a rewarding career. In this free 10 week program, professional chefs and skilled classroom instructors teach students basic culinary skills and how to feed their neighbors. Students receive job skills, apprenticeships, help applying for jobs, and preparation to take the ServSafe exam for certification.
