An important part of the gospel and of our Wesleyan heritage is that grace is unearned and that we are not to sit idle waiting for grace to rain down. Rather, we are to engage in “means of grace” as ways that grace pervades in and through us. The focus of this summer series will be more stories from Luke’s gospel – stories that highlight various examples of persons “engaging grace” through various activities (various “means of grace”).
Loving God, loving neighbor, living in community.
Grace Church is a faith community in the heart of Dayton seeking to follow Christ’s examples of love, peace and justice. We are a diverse urban community of persons who value connecting to God and to one another. We believe that God is love and that all persons are valued in the family of God.

Grace Church Sunday School for children focuses on God’s love – God’s love of children and God’s love of all the world. Stories of the Old and New Testaments, as well as other materials, are used to illustrate God’s love.
