SUNDAY AT GRACE

What a busy day at Grace! There was the book study at 9:15, followed by coffee and fellowship at 10:00. Worship at 10:30 included a great telling by Frank Hollingsworth of Samuel’s call, meaningful music from Lois Ramey and Joe Severyn, an inspiring message from Pastor Steve, and Holy Communion. You can watch the service here on the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube. After worship, there was the opportunity to talk with Carol ONeal about the artwork she has displayed in the Grace Galleria. And then there was a very informative Lunch and Learn about the results of the recent General Conference of the United Methodist Church. Whew!

CARDINAL CHORALE

We are pleased to host a concert by the Cardinal Chorale on Monday, June 10, at 7:00 p.m.! Founded in 1995, the Cardinal Chorale is an elite ensemble of singers who have completed their first year of high school through their first year of college. Called “Choral Ambassadors of Hope” their mission is to uplift and inspire one song at a time.

You are invited to be a part of a ministry of hospitality for this group. On Monday evening, there will be a meal provided by Dayton Cooks! Please contribute a dessert—you can bring it to church on Sunday, and it will be refrigerated. We also have been asked to provide overnight accommodations for the youth. This would entail picking them up after the concert Monday night, June 10, taking them to your home to sleep, giving them breakfast Tuesday morning, June 11, and getting them back to church by 9:00 a.m. so they can continue their tour. If you can host one or more, please contact Lois Ramey at loisclarkramey@gmail.com.

P.S.: The Sunday morning book study will continue to discuss this book—join us at 9:15 a.m. in the Blue Room if you’re not done with the book!
