SUNDAY AT GRACE

Wow!  Lois Ramey and Charis Weible put together a choir!  We are grateful to them, and to all the singers.  Let’s do it again sometime!  

Since it was the first Sunday of the month, we also celebrated Holy Communion.  Frank Hollingsworth told the story of the prophet Nathan convicting David of adultery and murder, and Pastor Steve’s message, based on that story, was “Courage and Accountability”.  If you would like to see the service, click here for the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED

Next Sunday, August 11, is the deadline for brining school supplies to church to help the Grace Youth Ministry support the Dayton Youth Initiative’s collection for KIND (Kids in New Directions).  You can leave your donations in the box in the hallway on Sunday.  If you would prefer to donate by check, please put “school supplies” in the memo line.  For more information, contact  Marcia Byrd at mbyrd@graceumc.com.  Thanks for your generosity!

PUBLIC HEARING
