SUNDAY AT GRACE

On Sunday, January 12, we began a new sermon series, The Will of God. Pastor Steve’s first message was “But That’s Not Fair!”. He explored responses to situations in which it seems that evil is rewarded and good is ignored. Scripture from Psalm 73 was told by Larry Ramey, and Joe Severyn provided beautiful piano and organ music to lead us in worship. The California-Pacific Annual Conference has set up a special fund – the Los Angeles Fires Recovery Fund – where you can contribute directly toward relief and recovery from the effects of the winds and firestorms this week. We’re trying something new! Tonight, Monday, January 13, at 6:00 p.m., Grace by Heart will meet in the Atrium at Friendship Village, 5790 Denlinger Rd., (AKA Pleasantwood). After sharing a meal, we will discuss the upcoming schedule of scripture to be told. You are welcome to join us, even if you don’t want to tell a story!
