SUNDAY AT GRACE
Begin your week at Grace! At 9:15 a.m. in the Blue Room, you can participate in a study of John Wesley led by Dean Pulliam. At 10:00 a.m., partake of coffee and pastries in the Ladies’ Parlor. And, of course, at 10:30 a.m., enter the sanctuary for worship. The scripture will be the story of the widow’s mite, and Pastor Steve’s message will be “It’s About the Widow, not her Coins”. The Grace Choir will sing, too! If you aren’t able to attend in person, please join us virtually HERE on the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.
VETERANS’ DAY
In recognition of Veterans’ Day, the church office will be closed on Monday, November 11. The prayer group will not meet, and the Pastor’s Study will not convene. Be sure to come to these groups next Monday, November 18! 10:00 a.m. for the prayer group, and 11:00 a.m. for the Pastor’s Study of “Revelation for the Rest of Us”.
WEDNESDAY EVENTS
Wednesday, November 13, will be busy! From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Ladies Interfaith Discussion will gather at the Fazl-i-Umar Mosque, 637 Randolph St. The topic of discussion will be “Saints and Martyrs in Our Faith Traditions”. For more information, contact ladiesinterfaith@gmail.com.
Then, scurry on over to Grace for the United Women in Faith meeting in the Blue Room at 1:00 p.m. The topic will be “World Thank Offering”, and refreshments will be provided.
Then, please join the Montgomery County Jail Coalition for its next Community Event at 6:00 p.m. at Grace. They will welcome four local judges, Hon. Angelina Jackson, Hon. Brandon McClain, Hon. This site will also allow you to submit questions to the judges.
