SUNDAY AT GRACE

“Ora et Labora” were the words for the day! Pastor Steve explained that they mean “Pray and Work”. He used the story of Elijah fleeing the wrath of Jezebel, told by Hope Grandy, to illustrate that we need rest, relationships, work, and a purpose. We get tired and discouraged, but those things can restore our energy. Our worship was greatly enhanced by beautiful harpistry from Leah Estes. GRACE UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

An exciting UWF meeting at Grace will be on Wednesday, August 14, at 1:00 p.m. in Blue Room. Come to learn more about what took place at this year’s Mission u! There will be a panel comprised of Joyce Ard, Jennifer Davis, Hope Grandy, and Linda Bales Todd. This will be a “mini-training”, so don’t miss it!! There will also be a time for fellowship and refreshments!
