EPIPHANY AT GRACE

Yesterday was “An Epiphany”! We got the New Year off to a good start by celebrating Holy Communion, AND we got to see Claymation camels and wise men sing “We Three Kings”! Charis Weible shared the poem “The Work of Christmas” by Howard Thurman. We sang “Happy Birthday” to Wilma Simms (97, but who’s counting?). GRACE UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

The Grace UWF will gather on Wednesday, January 8, at 1 p.m. in the Blue Room to plan the year’s programs and any other initiatives related to their mission. Your input and ideas and dreams are requested! Refreshments will be served.

HOPE AND JUSTICE MINISTRY

As a result of study, listening, and a pilgrimage, members of the HOPE Ministry were moved to enlarge the focus of the ministry to include justice. Whether or not you have been involved with HOPE in the past, you are encouraged to come and help shape the ministry of HOPE for 2025. Please join in on Sunday, January 12, after worship (noon) to pray, break bread, praise, and gather ideas about how to design a new HOPE and Justice Ministry.
