SUNDAY AT GRACE

Sunday was the beginning of a busy week at Grace! The 9:15 discussion group began a series, led by Rev. Dr. Amelia Boomershine, on evil. The discussion was lively and interesting. Worship began a sermon series on The Core Teachings of Jesus. Pastor Steve led off with “The Way of the Cross” and named some ways that the message of Jesus has been misinterpreted. We were blessed with visitors from UMYF groups of the past, as well as with music from Lois Ramey and Joe Severyn. MEN’S BREAKFAST

Envision a lunch table with Daytonians from all over the city ready to re-think their assumptions about other parts of town and the people who live there. That’s the idea behind The Longest Table! You will have a chance to experience this on Wednesday, September 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Building 7 Plaza of Sinclair College.
