NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH

November is National Native American Heritage Month. The history of Native Americans in Dayton and Ohio is rich and even prehistoric! HERE is a list of Ohio’s Native American Heritage sites, some of which are quite near to us, especially SunWatch Indian Village. And don’t forget the newest Ohio State Park, the Great Council State Park in Xenia! Have fun exploring the history of the land where we live!
